Motion & website for a historic Los Angeles Landmark
Clifton’s L.A. has long been a celebrated landmark and revered treasure within the Los Angeles community. Since being purchased, Clifton's has been revitalized and reimagined in a way that celebrates the history of the venue while creating new and imaginative experiences for it’s guests. It was in need of a website that can match its sophistication and feel.
Almost instantly, we realized there was a wonderful brand story in the idea of making something old new again, and with that in mind, we embarked on a journey to create a unique and engaging digital presence that defines the brand by incorporating a glorious past into a cutting edge digital present. We wanted to ensure the experience feels dynamic and opted for a very intricate motion graphics piece as well as various small animations throughout the website.
Working with the stakeholders, we sought to craft an unorthodox yet functional digital experience utilizing found imagery from the 1920’s and 30’s. We carefully crafted and composed the website by capturing the eclectic and nostalgic feel that is the essence of the Clifton’s brand.
