Visual identity & website for a business coach and entrepreneur


CHALLENGE

As a successful wedding planner and business consultant, Angela Proffitt has been growing and creating many different facets and divisions of her business. As a result of this growth, Angela's visual identity system and digital presence was no longer representing the successful business woman she has become. ActiveColor was asked to create a visual identity system that would unify all of Angela's business ventures and to let that identity system influence and guide the new design of the Angela Proffitt website.



Productivity and growth are the two main brand pillars for Angela Proffitt. We decided to let these concepts remain at the core for the visual identity as well. Growth is represented through the petals and shape of the flower, while the diamonds represent productivity through the structured representation of efficient escalation by combining two triangles.


PROCESS

Angela has several business and creative outlets that make her who she is today. Our goal was to unify these outlets under symbology that can be tied to success and growth. We created a logo and accompanying identity system that included incorporating color palettes and typographic treatments with this main goal or concept in mind. We then moved to implement this system in various assets that included support graphics for Angela’s website and a typographic treatment for her print collateral.



SOLUTION

A simple, versatile, and conceptual identity system that represents key elements of the Angela Proffitt brand. Implementation of the identity and creation of a modern and functional website.
